Grade Corner is a comprehensive tool designed to facilitate grade checking for students and parents using the Aspen grading system. The app offers a wide range of features that enable users to conveniently access and manage their grades. It supports various functionalities, such as displaying enrolled classes, current grades, grade breakdowns by class categories, assignment due dates, and attachment downloads. Moreover, it also provides recent assignment updates, allowing parents and students to collaborate with teachers effectively. Additional features include the ability to email teachers directly from the app, view remarks from teachers per assignment, filter assignments by class category, and access past grades from previous years or terms.


Grade Corner now introduces a Premium mode that offers customization options, such as setting custom colors for classes according to personal preferences. This allows users to personalize their experience and easily distinguish between different subjects. Furthermore, the Grade Calculator feature enables students to obtain a comprehensive view of their overall grade percentage by considering missing assignments, adding future assignments to evaluate their impact, or modifying current assignments for planning makeup grades. However, it is important to note that the Grade Calculator is for estimation purposes only and does not guarantee final scores.


Additionally, Grade Corner has joined the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC) and has received endorsements for use in several states, including Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

A: Yes! If you don't have your credentials or are unsure about them, please contact your school administrator.

<li>Q: What School Districts are supported?</li>
A: Currently, the app fully supports school districts such as Public schools in Washington, DC; Chicago Public Schools; Boston Public Schools; school districts in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont; MySchoolSask and MyEducation BC; MyOntarioEdu (requires link addition under 'My School District is not listed'); and the DoD Education Activity (DoDEA). It is also compatible with other districts, although certain features may be limited for custom Aspen systems.

<li>Q: How do I find my Aspen ID?</li>
A: Your Student Aspen ID is provided by your school district. For Boston and Washington, DC, it typically consists of 6 to 7 digits (e.g., 12345567). Parent accounts usually utilize email addresses. If you are unsure about your credentials, please contact your school administrator.

<li>Q: How frequently are grades updated?</li>
A: Grades are updated periodically by teachers. As soon as updates are made, students can view them instantly through the app.

<li>Q: Is this app officially supported by my School District?</li>
A: The official support for Grade Corner may vary depending on the school district. Although the app was independently developed by a parent in Washington, DC, efforts are underway to gain official endorsements from school districts. Please refer to the list above for any endorsed districts.

<li>Q: Is my data secure?</li>
A: Grade Corner prioritizes the security of your grade information. Your data remains within the app and is not stored in any way. For more information about our privacy policy, please refer to the provided link.
